Kurakawa are (in Ozu city, Ehime prefecture) is well known for its beautiful rich rice-producing terrace. The Autumn Ritual at Mishima
shrine is held in evry November.
In addition to the Shinto ceremony, the ritual is full of Kurakawa's traditional events such as Mutsusika Odori (Six's deers' dance),
Shishimai (Lion dance), Ushi-oni (performing arts of the legendary cattle) and Mochi-maki (rice-cake-throwing for visitors)….
